Learn to create a campfire effect in Houdini.
First created I created the procedural campfire sticks. I used poly extrude along the curve to get a basic geometry of one stick. Then used the copy stamp node to make every stick facing the center and gather together.

Then I followed a tutorial use pointvop node to get a partially dissolved geometry of the sticks. And use $T*10 at the offset node, to make it animated.
Then used the shelf tool to make a flame on the sticks. And tweak all the parameters until we got a realistic look of a campfire.
